Bernd Boente, the manager of the Klitschko borthers, is standing firm. He categorically ruled out the possibility of a rematch between WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (56-3, 49 KOs), and British boxer David Haye (25-2, 23 KOs).

Since the July decision loss to Wladimir, Haye has remained silent on the future of his career. Prior to facing Wladimir, the British boxer vowed to retire from the sport in October, but after the loss he was pursuing a rematch with Wladimir.

After the fight was over, Boente and Wladimir ruled out the possibility of a rematch, and now several weeks later they continue to do so. If Haye makes a decision to continue his career, Boente once again states that Vitali Klitschko is ready and willing to fight. Vitali defends his WBC title against Tomasz Adamek on September 10 in Poland.

"Why should we give him a rematch? If Haye has the thirst to fight a Klitschko, let him face Vitali," Boente said.
