Bernd Boente, manager of WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40 KOs), has denied the information circulating through the German press, that Vitali is considering a fight with British rival David Haye (25-2, 23 KO) on June 2 in Germany, with stadiums being placed on hold in Gelsenkirchen Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.

"No, this information does not fall in line with reality. We are only at the stage of selecting the opponent. When it comes to Haye – his financial request is excessive and we will not satisfy his appetite. There is also nothing certain regarding a stadium. We work with many arenas in Germany. We call them early, but there is nothing yet with any of them for June 2," Boente said.
