According to Dave Coldwell, "Head of Boxing" for David Haye's promotional company, Hayemaker Promotions, there is absolutely no interest in a possible fight with former four division champion Roy Jones Jr. In a previous report, Jones told UK paper The Sun, that he planned to have a face-to-face meeting with Haye in order to convince the WBA champion to give him a title shot in 2011.
Coldwell says Jones is a "shot" fighter and Haye would not entertain a possible fight between the two of them. Haye defends his title on November 13 in Manchester against 2000 Olympic gold medal winner Audley Harrison.
One fighter who is willing to unretire to fight Jones, is former light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods. Jones stopped Woods in 2002. Coldwell thinks Jones is beyond his last legs. He gives Woods the edge to beat him if the two ever fight again.
