A member of Joshua Clottey's team, Kwaku Gyamfi, says WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao is going to the hospital after the former champion from Ghana beats him down on Saturday night at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Gyamfi told ABS-CBN that Pacquiao is going to get hurt by the bigger Clottey.
“Manny’s going straight to the hospital after the fight,” Gyamfi said. “Manny will be all cut up and bruised. He’s going to be hit by a brick.”
Pacquiao is almost an 8-1 favorite to win the fight. Gyamfi says the Filipino champ will be too busted up to even sing with his friends at the post-fight after party.
“He won’t be able to perform after the fight. For the first time he won’t be able to perform,” said Gyamfi.
