It was reported by Keith Idec, that the September 29 clash between WBC/WBO middleweight Jermain Taylor (27-0-1, 17 KOs) and mandatory challenger Kelly Pavlik (31-0, 27 KOs) is heading to the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The report notes that Ken Condon, senior vice president and general manager for Bally's in Atlantic City, outbid the executives for Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Contracts have not been signed, but both sides are confident that a deal will be reached.
