IBF middleweight champion Sebastian Sylvester will begin 2011 with a title defense in what is called his "livingroom"; the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg. Sylvester takes on Frenchman Medhi Bouadla.
Sylvester won the title at this venue back in 2008 and fought there five times, going 4-0-1 and is hugely popular in this part of Germany.
Bouadla normally campaigns at super middleweight and is ranked at # 14 by the IBF in this weight division. He has some good wins on his record and held the French title but has never competed at Sylvester´s level.
