Malmoe, Sweden - Suro Ismailov won the vacant Swedish lightweight title with a six round unanimous decision over Abdu Tebazalwa in the headliner of Armand Boxing Promotion?s show at the Admiral. Ismail won the hardfought no knockdown affair on scores of 60-55, 58-56 and 59-55 and was just a little sharper than his opponent. As for the distance it was over six two minute rounds but with amateur rules used which meant the clock was stopped in every break and some rounds dragged out to almost three minuters.

Heavyweight Joel Larsson walked through Bosnian debutant Mersan Pasalic and won on a TKO in the third when Pasalic, tired and under heavy pressure, retired.

Local welterweight Simon Henriksson, 2-0, outscored Mahmut Gorda, 0-2, in what was the fight of the night. Gorda looked a bit chubby but was full of fight and gave the Swede a good fight especially in the fourth and last round when Henriksson went all out.

Light heavyweight Sven Fornling had a difficult first round against Fadil Pasalic but floored his opponent in the second with a fine combination. Pasalic fell apart after that and was stopped in the third.

Lightweight Edward Bjorklund turned pro with an easy first round TKO win over Ilya Zarkov.

Anna Donatella Hultin outscored Claudia Ferenci over six in a fight that featured a featherweight against a flyweight - and Ferenci, as brave as they come - was just too small to have an impact against her much bigger opponent.

Johanna Rydberg stopped Ana Simeunenova in the second in a female flyweight fight. Rydberg is a world class Muay Thai fighter and should have been matched a lot tougher than this.
