Earlier this month undefeated light heavyweight prospect Sullivan Barrera (15-0, 10KOs) took to Twitter to call out undefeated highly ranked contender Seanie Monaghan (23-0, 15KOs) as seen below.
Barrera, who was a highly decorated amateur in Cuba, sent this brief statement to BoxingScene.com to reiterate his desire to face the popular Monaghan who draws big crowds in New York.
"Seanie, I've been fighting in the Northeast, you're from the Northeast. Let's give the boxing fans a great fight to watch. Im ready! Send the contract."
Monaghan, who saw action last December and scored a third round TKO win, is promoted by Top Rank - and Barrera, who last month destroyed Jeff Lacy in four rounds, is promoted by Main Events.
