Jakarta - Ndondo Sugiarto, the son of promoter Aseng Sugiarto (deceased) has been declared as promoter for the IBF minimumweight (105 lbs) title between Muhammad Rachman and Florante Condes on July 7th in Jakarta.
The venue will be Studio TV RCTI instead of Tennis Indoor Stadium, Gelora Bung Karno.
"I must present this fight to save Muhammad Rachman's belt. I don't want Rahman's title stripped because he doesn't fight." Ndondo said.
Ndondo also said he will only pay Rachman a purse of $21,250 (85 percent) whereas Condes purse is $3,750 (15 persent) following a IBF apurse bid reult on April 5, 2007, in New Jersey, USA.
Ironically, Ndondo does not have the sponsorship to back up this fight. It's dilemma for Rachman's management, who accepted the low purse or be stripped his title if he does not fight.
