LOS ANGELES --- Bermane Stiverne knows he will probably get more exposure than he's ever had in his career because ESPN is showcasing his fight against Chris Arreola on its main network on Saturday night at USC's Galen Center.

"That's great," Stiverne said. "I mean, me personally, I watch ESPN every night. I mean, it's amazing. The visibility is incredible. We're talking about millions of viewers, so I'm very happy and grateful to ESPN and to be a champion on ESPN."

Stiverne said he doesn't feel any added pressure to perform because the fight is on ESPN.

"That don't bother me," Stiverne said. "Most of my fights I fight elsewhere or somebody else's backyard. My entire amateur career was overseas in other countries and I always came out on top. As far as I'm concerned I came here as a champion because technically I should be defending my title right now. I fight for the title."

Stiverne hasn't fought since beating Arreola in April 2013, but he said the long layoff won't effect him.

"I take care of myself," Stiverne said. "It's a new beginning. People will see what I have on Saturday night."
