The trainer of the heavyweight champion, Wladimir Klitschko, does not believe Alexander Povetkin will choose to accept his mandatory title shot. The IBF has ordered Klitschko to defend the title against Povetkin. A deadline of April 26 was set or the fight will go to a purse bid.

Emanuel Steward thinks Povetkin will go in another direction. He says the undefeated Russian is not skilled enough to win.

"Povetkin will not fight with Wladimir, and will look for an excuse to avoid this fight. For example, in the fight against Eddie Chambers, Povetkin only won because in the later rounds he threw more punches, and not because he was better. I think that Chambers is much better than Povetkin," Steward told sportbox.ru . "Mark my words, he'll never get in the ring against Wladimir."
