Trainer Emanuel Steward is confident that IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron will get revenge in his April 12 rematch with Antonio Margarito. Margarito previously stopped Cintron within five-rounds in 2005. The two meet nearly three-years later at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. The fight will be the co-feature to Miguel Cotto's defense of the WBA welterweight crown against Contender star Alfonso Gomez.

Speaking with Primera Hora, Steward predicts the fight will be a good one and while he says Cinrton is a much better fighter than he was in 2005, he also says Margarito is probably a better fighter as well.

"Margarito will be a good fight, but Kermit has improved a lot.  It can be argued that wasn't well prepared the first time the two of them fought," Steward said. "Margarito is a hard opponent. He's improved and he's strong mentally."

Because Cotto will be in the main event, Steward anticipates a heavy amount of support from a predominantly Puerto Rican crowd.

"In Atlantic City, we know that there will be a big Puerto Rican crowd, since Miguel Cotto will also be fighting that night. Kermit will be 100-percent prepared for Margarito," Steward said.
