A junior lightweight title bout between featherweight titleholder Stephen Fulton and WBC 130lbs belt holder O’Shaquie Foster will land as the co-main event on the October 25 Premier Boxing Champions pay-per-view card at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, a source confirmed to BoxingScene on Thursday.
New WBC titlist Fulton, 23-1 (8 KOs), of Philadelphia, will meet Ohio’s Foster, 23-3 (13 KOs), two months after the bout was supposed to land on the planned but scrapped August rematch between lightweight belt holder Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jnr.
The Prime Video/PPV.COM card will be headlined by WBC junior middleweight titlist Sebastian Fundora’s defense against former welterweight titleholder Keith Thurman.
Foster-Fulton is a unique bout featuring fighters promoted by Top Rank (Foster) and PBC (Fulton). Fulton claimed his belt in February, defeating then-titleholder Brandon Figueroa.
A news conference to formally announce the card is planned for Wednesday in Los Angeles.
