BoxingScene.com has been advised that an agreement has been reached for Paul Spadafora (48-0-1) to face Thomas Dulorme (18-1) on August 17th at the Revel Resort in Atlantic City. The fight will be televised on HBO Latino. HBO will also televise a tripleheader that evening headlined by Daniel Geale defending his IBF title against Darren Barker. The tripleheader will be rounded out with WBO light heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly's title defense against Sergey Kovalev in the UK and IBF super bantamweight champion Jonathan Romero facing an opponent to be determined.
Since losing to Luis Carlos Abregu last October, Dulorme has gradually began to move down to the 140 junior welterweight limit where this fight is being contested. He weighed 143 pounds in his February knockout victory over Eddie Brooks and 144 pounds in his unanimous decision victory over Ben Ankrah in April. Spadafora has gone 3-0 since returning to the ring last August after nearly a 2 year hiatus.
