Scott Harrison's defense of the WBO featherweight title against Nicky Cook on December 9 is turning into a huge event. The show, which takes place at London's ExCel Centre, has now signed a heavyweight encounter between Matt Skelton and 2000 Olympic gold medalist Audley Harrison.
The bout will be Harrison final chance to get his career back on track. Skelton holds a recent win over Danny Williams, the same man that defeated Harrison and started the downslide of a once promising career.
"Audley lost to Danny Williams last year, and let himself down," said promoter Frank Warren. "He must know that if he looks as bad again, it is difficult to see where he can go in the sport."
Hot British prospect Amir Khan is also slated to fight on the undercard.
