DAVAO CITY’S Lito Sisnorio lost his World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth flyweight title to Panomroonglek Kratingdaenggym in the main event of a card on Thursday at Wat Ban Plee Yai Klang in Samut Prakarn, Thailand.
The three judges scored the bout 100-90, 98-92, and 97-93 all in favor of Panomroonglek, whose WBC Asian Boxing Council flyweight title wasn’t at stake in the 10-round title fight.
A three year pro, Sisnorio will celebrate his 24th birthday on October 10 without a belt that he captured with an impressive technical knockout win over then WBC No. 5 contender Fahpetchnoi Sor Chitpattana (22-1) on May 26 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Sisnorio’s performance against Panomroonglek was far from his exploit of Chitpattana, whom he knocked down thrice, in rounds one and two and finally by landing vicious rights hook at 1:58 of round 5.
The fleet-footed Panomroonglek never let Sisnorio to engage in a close fight when he successfully running around the ring.
Sisnorio, accompanied in the fight by Ernie Gonzales Jr., dropped his stock to 11-3-1 while Panomroonglek kept his unblemished record intact to 15-0 with 8 KOs.
Panomroonglek is ranked No. 2 in the world by WBC while Sisnorio is No. 23.
