Last May's super-fight between welterweight champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao was a smash hit at the box office but left a lot to be desired in terms of ring action.

You can count former IBF welterweight champion and former Pacquiao sparring partner Shawn Porter amongst those who like to see a rematch.

"Yes (I would like to see it again) and here is why.  Again like I said you only get one night but what happens if you get one more night?  You can make adjustments and make things better," said Porter.

The 28-year old Porter, who is set to face WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman on March 12th, would hope that the old aggressive Pacquiao would resurface in a rematch.

"Ideally you get a sharper Manny Pacquiao.  The Manny that fought Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto.  I love these questions because that is what makes boxing great.  If your guy wins you are so happy and if he loses you are crushed.  That is what boxing brings out of the fans and I want to be in those types of fights," Porter told BoxingScene.com.
