Undefeated junior middleweight Shawn Porter (15-0, 12 KO’s), the reigning North American Boxing Organization champion has kept his title and his win streak going with a 5th round TKO over Rober Kliewer (10-11, 6 KO’s) at Fitzgerald's Casino and Hotel in Tunica, Mississippi, on Saturday night.
The former sparring partner of pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao used his speed and devastating punching power to batter Kliewer.
The solidly built, 22-year-old Porter dropped Kliewer for the first time in round two and then again in round three before smashing the hapless fighter four times in round five to force the merciful stoppage at 1:08 of the fifth round.
