Gary Shaw, promoter of heavyweight Bryant Jennings (18-0, 10KOs), tells BoxingScene.com that his fighter is ready, willing and able to face Mike Perez (20-0, 12KOs) at any time.

The World Boxing Council mandated two eliminators. The first took place on Saturday night, where Deontay Wilder crushed Malik Scott in the first round. The second would see Jennings collide with Perez.

In the month of May, Chris Arreola and Bermane Stiverne will clash for the vacant WBC heavyweight title. The winner will have to face Wilder - and then the Jenning-Perez winner would get their chance at the belt.

Recently, rumors have circulated that Jennings had no interest in facing Perez - which Shaw denies.

"I've heard that as well and that is absolutely not true. Bryant Jennings is ready and willing to face Mike Perez at any time. Wilder, who won the first eliminator, will get a shot at the winner of Arreola and Stiverne, and then the winner of Jennings and Perez, which is the second WBC eliminator, will get the next shot at the title. Jennings is ready to go, he's ready for Perez and rumors stating otherwise are completely untrue," Shaw told BoxingScene.com.
