As previously reported, former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs has taken his 'Let's Go Champ' campaign to the UK.
Briggs is actually lurking in the streets, attempting to track down former two division king David Haye, who returns to the ring on May 21 against an unnamed opponent.
The controversial Briggs is known for his crazy antics when it comes to stalking his potential opponents.
He spent a better part of two years hunting after Wladimir Klitschko. Briggs crashed press conference in several countries, media events, and even showed up at a restaurant as Klitschko had lunch in Florida.
Before Briggs could accomplish his goal of getting Klitschko, the division king was upset by Tyson Fury last November in Germany. Fury and Klitschko will have a rematch in the comings months for the IBO, WBA and WBO world titles.
Briggs would love to get his hands on Fury, should he win.
"It would be the biggest press conference ever in the history of boxing. He can't out-talk me and he cannot out-fight me," Briggs told Sky Sports.
Another big fight on the heavyweight scene, is Anthony Joshua challenging Charles Martin for the IBF heavyweight title at The O2 on April 9, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Briggs predicts a very tough fight for both. He says the contest will be far from easy for Joshua.
"He's kind of young, a little green, but that should be a tough fight against Martin," said Briggs. "Martin is no pushover, it's a big fight for him as well, coming over here. But I'm used to that. I've been in big fights all my life and that's what I came here for."
