WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley has no interest in title unifications - he only wants the big money. After being unable to secure fights Floyd Mayweather Jr and Miguel Cotto, Mosley told Golden Boy Promotions CEO, Richard Schaefer, that he is not interested in a unification bout with undefeated WBC champion Andre Berto.

"He only wants mega-fights," Schaefer told The Los Angeles Times .

That means Mosley will be out of action until at least the end of the year. There is talk that Mayweather will return to the ring as early as July 11 but Schaefer told the paper that he won't believe any of the rumors until Floyd himself announces a return. Even if Floyd does come back, it's unlikely that Mosley will be his return opponent.

"These are speculations. I'll believe it when Floyd says, 'I'm back.' I haven't heard that. So it's not something we're considering at this time. At this point, I can't get Shane a fight against someone who doesn't want to fight him, so we'll wait," Schaefer said.
