Sergio Thompson, Ortiz, Kameda Triple is Announced

Cancun Boxing have announced a tripleheader event for October 27th at the Chetumal International Business and Convention Center in Quintana Roo, Mexico - featuring Sergio “Yeyo” Thompson, Roberto “Massa” Ortiz and Tomoki Kameda. The event will be co-promoted with Golden Boy Promotions and carrried by Televisa and Fox Sports in the United States.

Thompson (24-2, 22 KOs) will defend his WBC silver super featherweight title against Luis Armando Juarez (16-5-2, 4 KOs). Kameda (24-0, 15 KOs) defends his WBC silver bantamweight against Javier Franco (21-9-1, 10 KOs), and Ortiz (26-0, 22 KO) will defend his WBC silver super lightweight against a yet to be announced opponent.
