After several years, Argentine outlet Mundo reports that Gabriel Sarmiento has reconciled with his brother, Pablo Sarmiento, and WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez.

Gabriel was the longtime trainer of Martinez, but in early 2011 he was arrested for an aggravated battery charge - and jailed in Los Angeles, and later transferred to a prison in Spain.

After Gabriel was jailed, brother Pablo took over as the head trainer - starting with Martinez's March 2011 TKO of Sergey Dzinziruk.

While Gabriel was locked away, tension grew between him and Pablo/Martinez.

"I've been betrayed. It's the saddest thing that has ever happened to me in my life. It keeps me awake at night. Sergio never came to visit me in prison in Los Angeles, never. Pablo never did as well," Gabriel told Mundo Sports in March.

Gabriel was released from prison earlier this year and this past Saturday night he reunited with brother Pablo, and Martinez, at Kiko Martinez's big win over Jeffrey Mathebula in Elche, Spain.

Martinez may return on June 7th at New York's Madison Square Garden, defending his belt against former three division world champion Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico.
