According to local promoter Carlos Gonzalez, middleweight king Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez will be present at Panama's Arena Roberto Duran on March 30th. Martinez will lend his support to Panamanian welterweight prospect Azael Cosio (13-1-2, 10KOs), who defends the WBC's Latino championship against Domincan boxer Tomas Mendez (15-1, 9KOs). Cosio's only loss as a pro came at the hands of Johan Perez. Meanwhile, this Saturday at New York's Madison Square Garden Martinez will face Irish boxer Matthew Macklin.
