Sergio Martinez To Spar With Santos, Austin Trout, Cayo

WBC Emeritus middleweight champion Sergio Martinez (46-2, 25KOs) is taking no shortcuts in preparing for his upcoming fight with undefeated WBO 154-pound champion Sergei Dzinziruk (37-0, 23KOs). The fight is scheduled for March 12 at Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

BoxingScene.com was advised that Martinez is bringing in the best sparring partners he could find, including newly crowned WBA "regular' junior middleweight champion Austin Trout, top-rated junior welterweight Victor Cayo and former champion Daniel Santos of Puerto Rico.
