Former WBC Latino welterweight champion Ramon Sena won a ten round unanimous decision over Miguel "La Joya" Barrionuevo at Club Ferro Carril Oeste in Merlo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In October, Sena (16-9-2, 9KOs) lost a wide twelve round unanimous decision to Barrionuevo (24-3-2, 17KOs). Sena closes the year out with a win, and Barrionuevo loses after winning his first three fights of the year.
This time around, Sena worked at a much higher rate and often connected with his right hand. The scores were 97-93, 97-96 and 98-96 ½ (half-point scoring system).
