There are talks taking place for a fight between WBA super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (28-0-2, 21KOs) and Cesar Seda Jr. (26-2, 17KOs) for September 13th at the Manchester Arena.

Seda's father and trainer, Cesar Seda Sr., feels WBC champion Leo Santa Cruz is a better fighter. Santa Cruz defeated Seda last December by decision.

Because the fight will take place in less than two months, Golden Boy gave Seda a week to make a decision.

"I saw a couple of rounds of his fights against Rendall Munroe, I think. [Munroe] is left-handed [like my son]. I did not watch carefully, but I think [Quigg] is a winnable fight. Santa Cruz is better than him. He boxes a little more, but is far less aggressive," Seda Sr. told Jose Sanchez.

"[Because it would take place in the UK], maybe we have to knock him out to win. That must be taken into consideration. But it is winnable. I'll take a couple of days to evaluate [the offer] carefully and then decide as a group."
