The Liverpool Echo reports that if WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison is not released from a Spanish jail in the next day, his December 9 fight with Nicky Cook will get cancelled and he will likley get stripped of his title by the WBO, raising the status of interim champ Juan Manuel Marquez to full champion.

Harrison has been incarcerated in Malaga since October 6 on charges of allegedly assaulting a policeman.

"Scott is due up on court on Monday and the judge will decide whether he has charges to answer to or whether he will get bail. But he has got time, he has been training in prison and he had been training in Ireland and over here. If he doesn’t get released tomorrow, I think there is a problem," promoter Frank Warren said.
