The ‘Super Six’ stars entered the state of Denmark yesterday, former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel was on-hand to offer his thoughts on the tournament.  Schmeichel claimed that the innovative idea could be the Champions League of the boxing world; the Danish goalkeeper enthused about the format when speaking to The Sun.

“This concept will be great,” claimed the Dane.  “It really will decide who is the best super-middleweight in the world.  It is like the Champions League in football where the best teams compete.  Of course I favour my countryman Kessler to be the last man standing but I think Froch might have something to say about that.”

Froch, the UK's sole representative, put aside his shy and retiring nature, and lambasted Peter's choice.  “Forget what Schmeichel is saying about Kessler, I will be the winner,” laughed Froch.  “I am world champion already so now I have set my sights on the Super Six title.  I will prove my class in every single fight against world-class opponents.”

Carl refrained from smoking Schmeichel’s gloves; instead, he had a chat with the Great Dane, before posing for a few photos.
