Unbeaten Saul Rodriguez will fight Ramsey Luna on August 22, Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman advised BoxingScene.com on Tuesday.

The eight round bout will headline a Top Rank card and will take place in Fallon, Nev. The bout will be televised on UniMas, beginning at 11 p.m. ET/ PT.

Rodriguez (17-0-1, 13 KOs) resides in Riverside and is co-trained by Eduardo and Robert Garcia.

The 22-year-old Rodriguez is coming off a one-sided eight round decision victory over Antonio Capulin on May 30 in Hollywood, Calif.

Luna (12-3, 5 KOs) should provide a decent test for Rodriguez despite having had a few recent setbacks.

In his last bout on May 9, the Corpus Christi, Tex. resident lost a close eight round majority decision to Curtis Meeks in Houston. Luna also has decision losses to Ryan Kielczeski and Toka Kahn Clary.

The opening televised bout has yet to be announced as is the venue in Fallon where the Top Rank card will take place.
