According to recent interview conducted by reporter Ray Wheatley, IBO welterweight champion Lovemore Ndou (48-11-2, 31 KOs) says that he's agreed to face WBC 154-pound silver champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (33-0-1, 26 KOs) on December 4 in Xcaret, Mexico. Ndou has never been stopped or seriously hurt, even when he moved up to face Kermit Cintron and fought the likes of Miguel Cotto and others.
“I’ve seen Saul Alvarez fights against Jose Cotto and Carlos Baldomir and I see he does make mistakes in the ring,” said Ndou. “Against Cotto he was in trouble himself early in the fight and was nearly stopped but came back to win in round six. When I get him in trouble I will not let him off the hook."
