After he lost the chance to win the World Welterweight Championship of the World Boxing Association (WBA), the star of Jalisco, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, focuses on his training because whatever happens, he will have to appear in the ring on March 5. Canelo already has a dream to face the bigger names at some point in 2011. The rumored opponent for Alvarez is British star Matthew Hatton, who is the younger brother of Ricky Hatton.
“In 2011 I want to be world champion. I have to be patient because everything comes in time and this year the goal is to be world champion. I would like to fight the bigger names in boxing. Some of these names have already mentioned me as a possible opponent. It shouldn't surprise anyone if I were to face the likes of Shane Mosley or Miguel Cotto this year," said Alvarez.
