Cartagena de Indias, Colombia - At the 23rd annual convention of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), Puerto Rican promoter Tutico Zabala, of All Star Boxing, detonated the rockets when he made a public statement before Golden Boy Promotions Vice President Eric Gomez - that he will win the ongoing lawsuit that was filed in a Miami court, which deals with the promotional contract of Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.

Zabala filed the lawsuit against Alvarez and Golden Boy Promotions, claiming to have several years remaining on his promotional contract with Alvarez. Golden Boy signed Alvarez earlier this year.

"My company signed Canelo. The document was signed for four years and expires in two. It's in force, and also the contract can be extended if Alvarez becomes a world champion. I have all the evidence in my favor to win," Zabala said.
