Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has continued to push himself in training as he prepares for his this coming Saturday's clash against the dangerous Luciano Cuello at the Arena VFG in Guadalajara. Fans gathered to watch Alvarez trainin in Tepic, Nayarit. He worked the pads for seven rounds and was assisted by Jose Luis "Shilling" Cruz and Ivan Perez.
"I feel great and happy because we managed to successfully complete this training camp in Tepic. I think it was one of the best of my career and now I just need to work on maintenance and get ready to make weight, which are very close," said Alvarez.
"It was all pretty intense work, with great dedication and sacrifice and fortunately all the equipment was delivered here and now we can say without a doubt that we are ready to win."
After almost a month of work in the capital of Nayarit, Alarez said that he would make his fans proud by beating Luciano Cuello and shutting the big mouth of the South American opponent. Alvarez said he is keeping the silver title to Mexico.
Saul is now heading to the capital of Jalisco for a week of intense training and media functions before climbing into the ring on Saturday.
