Leo Santa Cruz (27-0, 15KOs) will defend his WBC Super bantamweight crown on September 13th, as part of the Floyd Mayweather Jr-Marcos Maidana II undercard at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, against an opponent yet to be named. After that...he's greatly looking forward to a unification against WBA/WBO champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9KOs), who a few days ago challenged him.

"Guillermo talks a lot, claiming  to be the best and that no fighter wants to face him. I'll fight him whenever and wherever he wants. I'd even fight him tomorrow!  I hope it'll happen as soon as possible because I'm sure the fans will love it," smiled Leo.

Santa Cruz confirms that he plans to make three more defenses of his crown, and then move up a division and try to and conquer the WBC featherweight crown, held by Jhonny Gonzalez.
