Abel Sanchez, trainer for IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, says former three division world champion Adrien Broner (27-1, 22KOs) is more than capable of bouncing back in a big way from last month's upset decision loss to Marcos Maidana.

Back in 1989, Sanchez's fighter Terry Norris suffered a crushing two-round knockout loss to Julian Jackson. Norris recovered well, won world titles and big fights and saw himself get inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

"I think he can bounce back real good. I don't think 147 is his weight right now, maybe in the future. I think he should get down to 140. I had a young man named Terry Norris, who at 21-years-old fought Julian Jackson. Julian was able to stop him in two rounds. Four fights later, Terry was able to come back and wins a world title and knocks out John Mugabi and now he's in the Hall of Fame. It all depends on how hard Adrien wants to work to get back to that level," Sanchez said.
