WBO featherweight champion Orlando Salido (38-11) will return to the ring on July 28th in his hometown of Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico.  According to Salido's manager Sean Gibbons, his opponent will be Oscar Bravo (20-3) of Chile.

Salido has been on BoxingScene numerous times campaigning for a fight against 130 pound champion Adrien "The Problem" Broner, who has stated that he will be moving up to 135 pounds after his July 21st defense against Vicente Escobedo.

Salido will most likely move back down to featherweight to defend his title this fall.  The 31-year old Salido won the title when he knocked out Juan Manuel Lopez in April of 2011.  He is 3-0 since that fight which includes another knockout victory over Lopez in their rematch.
