WBO #13 light heavyweight Umar Salamov (13-0, 11 KOs) is set for the toughest fight of his young career. The 21-year old Kiev-based Chechen will see action on November 14 in a near-capital city of Brovary, Ukraine.
Salamov will risk his WBO European title against upset artist Doudou N’Goumbou (34-6, 13 KOs).
The Frenchman was stopped just once and gave such fighters as Igor Mikhalkin (twice) and Andrzej Fonfara very tough assignments and all they could handle. He is not a stranger to Ukraine – just two and a half years ago N’Goumbou added Vyacheslav Uzelkov to his victim list.
The bout will be paired with the second fight of Ukrainian Olympic boxing star Denis Berinchyk (1-0, 1 KOs).
