WBC super middleweight world champion Sakio "The Scorpion" Bika (32-5-3, 21 KOs) will potentially fight at 168-pounds for the final time on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. He meets unbeaten Anthony "The Dog" Dirrell (26-0-1, 22 KOs) in a rematch of last December's fight which ended in a highly disputed twelve round draw.
Bika has attempted to get fights with the other top names of his division, like Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., but his attempts have been ignored. He thinks the time may be right for a move to the light heavyweight limit of 175-pounds.
"If I am the victor in this fight, I won't call any names on who I want to fight next. Every time that I call on a fighter, everyone gets too scared and doesn't want to fight. I need to sit down with my management and see if I need to move up a weight class and fight a big challenger maybe in the light heavyweight division because I feel that I am capable," Bika said.
