Sakio Bika continues to chase after his Australian rival, Anthony Mundine. There are rumors that Mundine is finally considering Bika as a potential opponent. Bika is the IBO super middleweight champion. Mundine dropped down to middleweight not long ago and claimed the IBO middleweight in that division. Bika won "The Contender" reality series when the super middlweights were being showcased and thought the big win and all of the television expsosure would land him Mundine and other big fights, but so far that has not been the case.
"If they want to fight me, we can make it happen," Bika told the Sydney Morning Herald. "[Mundine's manager] Khoder Nasser just has to call my promoter, Jeff Wald, then we can sit down and negotiate."
Bika says that he doesn't want a lot of money for the fight with Mundine. Actually, he is so confident of victory that he would be willing to fight Mundine for free.
"Everyone wants to see this fight happen. I never demanded too much money from them. I am not a Shannan Taylor, I have fought the best around and I have the name. If they want we can fight for free and give all the money to charity. I would be happy with that," Bika said.
