Jeff Wald, who promotes super middleweight contender Sakio Bika, has issued a challenge to Anthony Mundine for an all-Aussie showdown. Since winning "The Contender" reality show in 2007, Bika has been trying to land a fight with Mundine. Wald says the Australian public does not respect Mundine because he refuses to fight anybody with a pulse.

"Let's see if he has the balls to fight Sakio. Mundine's so loved down there, isn't he? They love to hate him. And I can see why. He's not a champion because he hasn't beaten anyone. A real champion is someone who fights and beats the best. He calls himself the Man. A real man would fight Sakio," Wald told The Daily Telegraph.

Wald claims that he's tried to secure a fight with Mudine's manager, Khoder Nasser, for the last two years.

"I've been trying two years to set something us but he keeps making excuses," Wald said.

Nasser denied Wald's account to the paper and claims that Bika has never requested a fight.

"When has he spoken to us?" Nasser said. "I haven't seen any proposal from him at all. And Sakio has been at several of Choc's fights. He's had plenty of opportunities to say he wanted to fight."
