Fight action returns to the Lebanon House in the heart of Accra on June 18 when Junior Walaga Promotions present a night of marvelous boxing tournament featuring two national titles and a Commonwealth Light Middleweight contest.
Undefeated Obodai Sai (14-0-0) faces Joseph Lamptey (10-3-1) in an all-Ghanaian battle to determine the winner of the vacant Commonwealth Light Middleweight belt in a repeat of their controversial bout back in 2009.
Obodai Sai alias The Miracle won that fight via a split point decision to claim the Ghana Light Middleweight title but Joseph Lamptey popularly called Horror Horror has never accepted the verdict and will now have the chance to set the record straight on June 18.
In other fights, Ishmael Tetteh takes on Isaac Selorm for the national Light Middleweight crown whilst Herbert Quartey and Razak Nettey slug it out for the national Super Bantamweight belt.
A lightweight contest features Samuel Kotey Neequaye against a yet to be announced opponent as well as a 10-round Super Featherweight fight between Osumanu Akaba and another yet to be announced opponent closes the June 18 fight line-up.
