Japan’s Ryosuke Nishida made his first defence of the IBF bantamweight title when he stopped Anuchai Donsua in seven rounds at Sumiyoshi SportsCenter in Osaka, Japan.
The 28 year old from Japan won it in May when dethroning Emmanuel Rodriguez, and further enhanced his reputation when earning his 10th victory from 10 professional contests 97 second into the seventh round.
It was a powerful left hand to the body that dropped Donsua, also 28 and from Thailand, and though Donsua struggled back to his feet the referee Katsuhiko Nakamura intervened to rescue him.
