Boston, MA - Murphys Boxing is pleased to announce the inaugural “The Memorial Series” fight card, to take place on Thursday February 26th at The Memorial Hall in Melrose MA. For the inaugural “The Memorial Series” fight card, Murphys Boxing has put together a stacked night of boxing featuring undefeated Ryan Kielczewski in the main event in addition to Mark DeLuca and top ranked super bantamweight Jonathan Guzman fighting separate opponents in the co feature bouts.

Hometown Boston favorite Ryan Kielczewski (21-0 5KO’s) currently ranked #8 in the world in the WBA Junior Lightweight rankings looks to stay undefeated and on track to fight for a major world championship in 2015. Ryan hopes to ignite the hometown crowd, just as he did in July 2013 against undefeated Miguel Soto, when fighting on ESPN Friday Night Fights. He delivered a devastating one punch KO in his signature win to date, earning him a spot on ESPN top 10. A win on February 26th likely will propel Ryan to a major national fight against another top 10 ranked Junior Lightweight.

Another undefeated local sensation, wildly popular Mark DeLuca (12-0 9KO’s) looks to continue his climb to national recognition. DeLuca a USMC Afghanistan Combat Veteran is a devastating two hand puncher, who stalks his opponents with bad intentions. The always exciting DeLuca is coming of his biggest win yet, a 4th round TKO against veteran Ryan Davis on October 30th, fighting on the Murphys Boxing promoted Fox Sports 1 telecast.

Rounding out the headline portion of the night will be undefeated KO artist Jonathan Guzman. Guzman is the WBA 10th and IBF 11th ranked super bantamweight in the world. Guzman (17-0 17KO’s) is a devastating puncher who has won all 17 of his fights by knockout. Guzman is from the Dominican Republic and will be fighting in the United States for just the 2nd time, but it will not take the Boston fans long to see why Guzman has become a must see. With a style that makes fans go crazy and the ability to end any fight with one shot, this is one fighter you don’t want to miss.

With the trifecta of Ryan Kielczewski, Mark DeLuca and Jonathan Guzman all fighting on February 26th, the inaugural “The Memorial Series” fight card looks to be one of the more exciting fight nights in the Boston area. “This will be one great night of fights. We have three highly touted undefeated nationally known fighters on this card, with two that are in the top 10 world ranking. This isn’t your typical local show, but a fight card you would expect to see on national TV.,” said Ken Casey of Murphys Boxing. “We anticipate the usual raucous atmosphere from the Murphys Boxing crowd come February 26th” added Casey.
