On September 1st Ryan Garcia (16-0) won a hard fought majority decision over Carlos Morales in Indio, California. The fight was streamed live on Facebook.

The 20-year-old Garcia, who is very popular on social media, held a public workout a few days prior to the Morales clash.

He spoke on variety of topics including the potential pay-per-view match up between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and unbeaten former champion Tyson Fury.

Wilder, who is 40-0 with 39 knockouts, will be a big favorite in the fight. Fury (27-0) returned from a two-half-year layoff in June and has won two fights in a row since his comeback.

However, the victories were against less than elite competition and many insiders wonder if those two fights will be enough to prepare Fury for the hard hitting Wilder.

"That fight - I think Tyson Fury is my favorite heavyweight right now. He is so funny. There is nothing wrong with that dude. He is hilarious. That fight I feel that Tyson Fury will win. I am going to make a bold statement and say Tyson Fury all the way," Garcia revealed.

Garcia understands the odds are against Fury but believes he will find a way to pull off the upset.

"I just feel like he has something to him that will just help him win. He may not look the best sometimes but damn he is funny and I just feel he finds some type of way to win. He beat Klitschko and he didn't get dropped like Anthony Joshua. I mean give him a little credit," said Garcia.

An announcement for Wilder-Fury is rumored to be coming in the very near future.  A date in November or December is being targeted with Las Vegas being the front runner to host the event.
