Russell is looking good early on as he lands counters on Hiraoka, who is often eschewing his jab and looking to just force power punches. Russell looks early on like he wants to win the round more, while Hiraoka is fighting like he just wants a knockout. I don't know if Hiraoka has won this fight - he might have - but he has definitely made himself a real player to watch. Huge flurry to end the fight for Hiraoka, not sure if it earned him the round but that was a real fun championship fight.
