Former WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (25-1, 17KOs) announced over the weekend that he is making moves for his return to the ring and another title run. He dumped trainer Michael Timm of Germany and hired Magomed Sharburov of Russia. Chagaev wants to redeem himself after suffering the first loss of his career, a ninth round TKO loss to Wladimir Klitschko in June.

"This has been a difficult period for me with the Achilles tendon injury, the cancellation of the fight with Valuev and the defeat to Klitschko," said Chagaev to AFP. "Like they say in football, a change of club for a player is often a chance for him to progress."
