Ukrainian heavyweight Andrey Rudenko (25-2, 17 KOs) halted his recent two-fight kayo losing streak with the seventh-round KO of well-traveled, pudgy Georgian former middleweight Shalva Jomardashvili (41-13-2, 32 KOs). Rudenko dropped the Georgian in rounds five and six before putting him down for a count with a big left hook to the body. The fight has took place today at the National Olympic Team Training Centre in Koncha-Zaspa, Ukraine.

Previously undefeated Rudenko, 31, lost to  Lucas Browne in 2014 and to Hughie Fury in 2015 - both times on points. He is promoted by K2 Promotions. Jomardashvili, 28, meanwhile, is 41-0 while fighting in his native Georgia, but just 0-13-2 outside, which speaks a lot.
