Under very cold weather, Mexico's Marco Antonio "Poison" Rubio, is already in Canada for the match against local star David Lemieux, taking place on Friday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and the winner will face the winner between middleweights Sebastian Zbik and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who clash for the middleweight world title of the World Boxing Council.

With his team, the reigning WBC Latino said, "the moment of truth is here, I've come to Canada with every dream in the world of beating Lemieux and I hope to return to Mexico with the victory."

30 years and a professional fighter with 42 knockouts, Rubio is quite clear that he will be facing a crippling puncher with a 25-0 mark with 24 knockouts, so "I'll be very careful to avoid being surprised with anything."

"I did a very good job for this fight. For fitness, I did not stop. I'm not ready to fight 12 rounds, and 20 if necessary. This is going to be violent from beginning to end. He hits very hard and he's very strong and I do as well . I think people will see an explosion in Canada."
