After three first-round knockouts against three palookas, whose combined record was 2-20, South African heavyweight Ruann Visser (3-0, 3 KOs) takes on his toughest opponent to date, on paper at least, tonight at the Bayou City Events Center in Houston.

Standing six-foot-ten with flaming red hair, the towering inferno from Johannesburg faces off against Quincey Palmer (6-4, 6 KOs) of Little Rock. Despite having stopped every opponent he has beaten, Palmer, 33, like Visser, 24, has never defeated a fighter with a winning record. He was stopped in three of his four losses, once against a fighter making his pro debut.

The card, featuring eight fights, will be staged by Savarese Boxing Promotions.

Fighting his ninth consecutive bout at the Bayou Center, featherweight Pablo Cruz (10-0, 3 KOs) takes on Manual Rubalcava (2-10). The crowd favorite's boisterous cheering section always show up in matching jerseys and marching band instruments.

Also on the card:

Welterweight Rogelio De La Torre (13-4, 7 KOs) faces Adam Ealoms (3-7-3, 1 KO).

Featherweight Armando Fausto (2-0, 2 KOs) takes on Omar Villazana (0-2).

Justin Ledet (2-0, 2 KOs) squares off against Michael Lane (0-3) in a heavyweight bout.

Featherweight Luis Guevara (2-0-1, 2 KOs) faces Marco Alcaraz (0-3).

Junior Welterweight David Limerick (1-0, 1 KO) fights Raymond Johnson (debut).

And featherweight Cristobal Morales (1-0, 1 KO) takes on Willie Miller (0-10).
